Zu diesem Zweck wird ein optisches leitungsgebundenes Übertragungssystem in Matlab simuliert. Dabei geht es um eine möglichst realitätsnahe Betrachtung, welche sämtliche oben beschriebenen Einflüsse berücksichtigt. Als Kanalcode kommt der Low Density Parity payment Code (LDPC) zum Einsatz.
